Van Buren Lockwood

Van Buren Lockwood never had children of his own but was much loved by his great-niece Clara Rosina Hoyt Lockwood. Van Buren was a poet and author; the family retains a copy of his book “Sweet Briar Petals,” for which Clara wrote an introduction using the pseudonym “C. R. Hathaway.”
